Welcome to the Living with Perseverance Blog

Hi everyone. I am so grateful you made your way to this blog. I am excited to introduce this new blog. I am choosing to believe that this blog will be a helpful resource in your journey to building faith, courage, and compassion in your life.

I hope you will leave today knowing the purpose of reading or seeing the Living with Perseverance Blog, who I am, and feeling hopeful and motivated to learn more.

What is the purpose of the Living with Perseverance Blog?

Living with Perseverance Blog is meant to be a resource in your journey to building faith, courage, and compassion during joyful and challenging life seasons. You will gain simple tools to use daily. These tools can remind you to practice valuable skills to strengthen and bring back an intentional mind.

You will find me using video and writing to give you these resources. As a mother and a long list of to-dos, I know watching a video is sometimes all I have time for. Although, like Joyce Meyer said, "The greatest gift you can give your family is a healthier you." This is a good reminder that you are essential, so use this to help you stay on track towards living with perseverance.

Topics that I will be planning to cover this year are understanding faith, courage, and compassion. Living in challenging and joyful life seasons, Trauma, relationships, and preventative tools for parents and adults.

Who am I?

My name is Priscilla Avery. My educational background is in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. I am more than my education; I live this path as I believe I can support others in small and big ways. My foundation has been developed from my personal faith in God, life and work experiences, and education. I like to think of myself as someone who has learned to be an encourager, kind, compassionate, humble, and hopeful person. I chose to be a wife and mother, which has given me real-life experience in learning how to be humble in knowing that life can bring challenges and joyful moments. Before becoming a wife and mother, I have been a daughter, sister, family member, and friend.

You are welcome to learn more about me here About Priscilla Avery .

How can you find hope and motivation in this blog?

Believe me when I say this new beginning is not necessarily in my comfort zone. Still, as you will learn, I will encourage you to come out of your comfort zone to find freedom and growth in times of pain and hurt. I will remind you that you are capable of facing these challenges. With faith, time, and intentionality, you can also feel at peace.

I welcome comments and suggestions on topics that you believe would be helpful for you to learn or gain tools for. Please do not hesitate to connect with me Here .
